Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) for Women

The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 is a legislative act in India that seeks to protect women from sexual harassment at their place of work. ln pursuance of provisions of Section 4(1) of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (SHWWP Act, 2013), an Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) was constituted 30.01.2024 at NACIN Palasamudram. The ICC will look into the complaints of all women working at the academy. There is an endeavour to meet the women contract employees viz., security, housekeeping, office personnel and connect with them with an assurance to provide a safe working environment. As per our commitment to eradicate Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace, quarterly meetings are held to look into the problems faced by the female staff. A nodal officer has also been nominated to look into the "SHe box" complaints.
