Dr. K. N. Raghavan has retired as the first Director General of NACIN Palasamudram on 31.05.2024. The NACIN family through a small commemorative event, bid farewell to him, wishing him a healthy and peaceful retired life. Pr.ADGs/ADGs from various NACIN Zonal Training Institutes (ZTIs) shared their experiences. Dr. Raghavan was accompanied by spouse Dr Ranjini Mam.

The first ever international program to be held in NACIN Palasamudram, the WCO Sub Regional Workshop on Training Management, was inaugurated on 6 May by Dr. K N Raghavan, DG NACIN and Ms. Arti Srinivas, CC Customs, Bengaluru Zone. Delegates from 9 Asia-Pacific countries also enjoyed Yoga & Kalaripayattu on the day of inauguration.
The program is scheduled for 6th to 10th May. Its objective is to enhance knowledge of training management through discussion-based experience-sharing and problem-solving and the outcomes of the discussions will be incorporated into the “Compendium on Training Management in the Asia/Pacific Region”.

The first of series of adjudication workshops to the Group A officers of zones, being conducted by NACIN Palasamudram was inaugurated by the Principal Chief Commissioner of Mumbai GST Zone, Shri S.M. Tata at ICAI Tower in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai on 01.05.2024 in the presence of programme director , ADG , Ms. Sudha Koka and ICAI western region President Mr. Ankit Rathi for 160 Group A officers of Mumbai GST Zone who benefited from the in-depth and interactive sessions on effective adjudication by well versed faculty .
