A five-day experiential workshop on "Human Resource and Leadership Development" for 30 Maldives Customs Service officers commenced today at NACIN Palasamudram. Inaugurated by Ms. Aarti Saxena, ADG, under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) initiative by the Ministry of External Affairs, this program aims to enhance participants' leadership skills and operational effectiveness, and showcases India's commitment to global cooperation and the developmental needs of partner countries.


NACIN Palasamudram's national webinar on New Criminal Laws - 'Review of Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023' saw enthusiastic participation . Prof. A Nagarathna, Associate Professor in Criminal Law, NLSIU, Bangalore delivered an insightful analysis, while Additional Director General Smt Sudha Koka expertly facilitated. Active engagement with around 450 participants.

Principal Director General of NACIN Palasamudram, Shri Gaigongdin Panmei, inaugurated the first Audit Training for Group A officers of CGST Audit Commissionerates on July 22nd, 2024. Directed by Mrs. Sudha Koka, Additional Director General, this 5-day program is set to impart quality training in audit process to multiple batches of Group A officers of CGST Audit Commissionerates. Similar trainings will be replicated for Group B officers by NACIN ZTIs fulfilling the NACIN’s endeavour for high quality capacity building in various functional areas of CBIC.

700 Center and State GST officers benefitted from NACIN Palasamudram's insightful Master Classe Webinars on “Understanding Financial Statements for Compliance Management in GST “ on July 18 and 19 th. The master classes are aimed to impart deeper understanding of concepts crucial for investigators, auditors and adjudicators in GST. Ms. Sudha Koka ADG , NACIN explained the spirit and purpose of the master classes. Shri Gaigongdin Panmei, Principal DG, NACIN stressed the importance of comprehension of Financial Statements for GST compliance management. The expert faculty for the sessions was Shri Upendra Gupta, Cheif Commissioner of CGST (Rtd.)

Nacin Palasamudram conducted second National Adjudication Workshop 08.07.2024 to 09.07.2024 for 100 Group "A" adjudicators of Kolkota CGST Zone. Chief Commissioner of Kolkata CGST Zone inaugurated the workshop at NACIN ZTI Kolkota on 08.07.2024 in the presence of Programme Director Ms. Sudha Koka, Additional Director General, NACIN Palasamudram. Group "A" adjudicators of Kolkata CGST Zone have benefited from the in-depth and interactive sessions on effective adjudication by eminent and well versed faculty. Shri Anbazhalgan, Member (Technical), CESTAT, Kolkota and Shri Muralidhar, Member (Judicial), CESTAT Kolkota shared valuable insights on departmental litigation management in the concluding session of Panel Discussion .

With the implementation of New Criminal Laws from 01.07.2024, NACIN Palasamudram conducted a National Webinar on “Overview of New Criminal Laws" on 03.07.2024. Ms. Sudha Koka, Additional Director General, NACIN Palasamudram, emphasized the need to understand the key changes, implications and challenges arising from these new laws . The faculty for the webinar, Dr. A. Nagarathna, Associate Professor of Law in National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, shared her valuable insights on the subject. The webinar was attended by 800 officers of CBIC and State GST officers.
